General

Where can I purchase IvedaXpress cameras?

You can purchase IvedaXpress cameras by calling us at 800-385-8616 or by completing your purchase online by clicking buy now anywhere on the website. You may also purchase from our nationwide partner/reseller network.

How will IvedaXpress cameras affect my Internet connection?

This depends on how many IvedaXpress cameras you want hosted. Video resolution and frame rate also need to be taken into consideration. The higher the resolution and frame rate, the more bandwidth is required.

Is there any special network configuration needed to set up an IvedaXpress camera?

No special network configuration is needed to get an IvedaXpress camera ready for online surveillance. The camera pulls a dynamic IP address from your local DHCP-enabled network automatically, and connects to the IvedaXpress service. Once you log in into http://hosting.ivedaxpress.com and register the camera for the first time, you will immediately see live video online.

Do I need a static IP Address?

No, the IvedaXpress camera will pull a dynamic IP address to connect back to Iveda Solutions. Even if your Internet Service Provider (ISP) changes your IP address, the IvedaXpress camera will automatically update its network configuration to connect back.

Will my camera work if I plug it into another physical location with Internet access?

Yes, the IvedaXpress camera will continue to work and be accessible from your original account.

Recordings

How do I search for archived video? After I type the date and time into the search field, it does not search for the footage I'm looking for.

In order to search for archived video you must use the corresponding pop-up calendar or time sliders to select the date and time period you are searching for. Typing the date and time into the search field will not work.

Mobile

Can I view IvedaXpress camera on my mobile phone?

Yes, IvedaXpress is supported by most major mobile phones on the market with a web browser installed.

When I sent a mobile bookmark, my recipient did not receive the SMS Text Message?

When submitting a phone number, the country code must be included. For example, (408) 555-5555 in the United States must be entered as follows: 14085555555 in order for the SMS text to go through.

After a certain period of time, I stop receiving mobile notifications about my hosted IvedaXpress camera?

When setting mobile notifications you will specify a notification limit from 1 to 5. Once this threshold has been reached, you must log into IvedaXpress and acknowledge your notifications in order to receive new messages.

IvedaXpress Privacy and Security
